Roses flowers bloom in summer in the garden roses. Beautiful roses flowers close up.

Roses for spring? Groundbreaking. Miranda Priestly may have been onto something when she poo-pooed floral fashion for the change of season in the 2006 film, The Devil Wears Prada. But when it comes to beauty, we can’t get enough of roses. In particular, Jurlique’s Rare Rose skincare collection.

Aside from bursting with the goodness of rose oil, it’s available in eco-friendly packaging, which we love. Jurlique’s goal is to reach 100 percent reusable or recyclable packaging by the middle of 2024. Its Rare Rose range kicks off the eco-friendly packaging makeover with up to 94 percent recyclable packaging. Cartons are locally produced, made with certified sustainable materials that are 100 percent kerbside recyclable. Jurlique’s frosted and translucent Rare Rose bottles are also 100 percent recyclable and made using recycled content. The droppers, pumps, caps and tubes are recyclable in-store via Terracycle.

Inside the packaging, a world of sensorial skincare awaits. Think: botanical-rich ingredients that help to elevate your self-care ritual and the scent of rare roses that will instantly relax and soothe. Not only that, but you’ll receive nourishing, long lasting hydration. Let’s take a look at the Rare Rose Range

Roses in Oil

Infused with roses, Rare Rose Face Oil has a delicate fragrance that works to calm your mind and counter the effects of stress on the skin. It also is brimming with several other nurturing ingredients, including Vitamin E, Olive, Jojoba, Soybean, Carrot and Castor oils, and Squalane. This rich, swiftly-absorbed blend works to moisturise, balance and restore luminosity. Apply after cleansing and before moisturising, or through the day over make-up to refresh your look and keep your skin calm and hydrated. Top tip: blend a few drops into your moisturiser for a truly decadent pamper.

The Sweetest Serum

Rare Rose Serum is a silky, super-powered formula that refreshes and rehydrates thirsty skin. Roses and Dwarf Lilyturf Root extract ward off moisture loss while restoring your skin’s glow. Apply post-cleansing and prior to moisturising.

Moisture-Filled Roses

Rare Rose Lotion is a light moisturising lotion that works to boost and maintain hydration while imparting a dewy finish. throughout the day but leaves skin with a flattering, dewy finish. Jurlique Rose extract delivers 24 hour hydration and Prickly Pear extract calms and soothes. This lovely lotion is great under make-up as a primer, and is perfectly suited to sensitive complexions. Those after a deeply moisturising experience could opt for Rare Rose Cream (or layer the cream over your lotion). Rare Rose Cream instantly soothes and hydrated. It then slowly releases moisture over 24 hours, thanks to micro-encapsulated Jurlique Rose extract. Cupuacu Butter offers further hydration and helps to restore radiance to super-dry skin.
