Emma Mulholland On Holiday debuted at Australian Fashion Week 2024 with its Resort 2025 show titled Pure Shores, and they made quite a splash!
The theme for the show was mermaid chic and underwater magic, and OPI and Wella Professional were on hand to work with the hair and nails of all the models. They had fun complimenting the taffeta, organza, freshwater pearls, crab claws and sequins which were being worn and also adorned the stage.
Wella Professional Editorial top stylist Keiren Street and OPI nail specialists further amplified the theme.
Keiren said, ‘I took inspiration for hair direction from the classic film SPLASH which was the EOH mood board for the collection. Just like Dary! Hannah’s character in the film, in and out of the water. I wanted to create a contrast of textures in the hair, think wet but dry at the same time.’
For the hair Keiren created a wet/dry look using the EIMI Styling range from Wella Professional and the nail specialists applied a selection of OPI Press On new range of press on nails creating the look of the shimmering ocean on the nails.
