Yves Saint Laurent Beauté has announced a partnership with leading Australian intimate partner violence prevention organisation FVREE.

The aim is to train almost 1,000 people in the next year to help prevent this terrible crime in our community. Intimate partner violence or IPV can come in the form of physical, sexual, financial, and emotional abuse as well as controlling behaviour by intimate partners.

FVREE has been offering programmes and services in IPV prevention for 28 years.

Yves saint Laurent is offering 3 key pillars of support:

  1. Interactive workshops for the beauty consultant so they may recognize and offer guidance to customers displaying signs of IPV.
  2. Internal training for all Yves Saint Laurent beauty corporate employees  as well as L’Oreal Group Au leadership team so they may offer support to team members or staff who are experiencing IPV at home.
  3. And, external training for young people as the 16-24 age group form the highest number victims of IPV.
