With Summer around the corner, now is the time to embark on the journey to find the perfect swimsuit, and with safety at the forefront, Brisbane based label Shade Swim’s range has something for all women.
Last month Shade Swim debuted a new design “Adore” from their newest collection “Embody” at the recent Brisbane Fashion Month, being included on the Brisbane Fashion Resort Runway Finale, at Breakfast Creek Lifestyle Precinct in the Mercedes Benz Brisbane Show Room.
Featuring a range of flattering swimwear for women of all shapes, with gorgeous colours and fashion-forward sleeve lengths, Shade Swim is proud that all the pieces are Australian made, locally in Brisbane.
Shade Swim is a female-led business encouraging women to feel confident and sun smart this summer. With Australia having one of the highest rates of melanoma in the world, reminding us about the importance of sun safety.
The Shade Swim Story
Shade Swim founder Alyshia Morris was diagnosed with two-stage 1 melanomas in 2013, which played a huge role in inspiring her to launch Shade Swim 2017.
“At 32, and with two babies at the time, I was given the fright of my life. Fortunately, they were successfully removed and I was extremely lucky,” Alyshia said.
Alyshia is vigilant in the sun and wants to encourage Australians to protect themselves from our harsh Aussie sun.
“The new Embody Collection continues to encourage women to feel confident while also emphasising the importance of sun safety, whether they’re at the beach, lounging by the pool or heading to brunch after a surf.”
