While so many of us can’t travel, and in many cases go further than our suburb, a new breed of ‘global shopper’ is emerging – one who is not put off by different currencies, backgrounds or borders – and is snapping up grassroots and top designs from the comfort of their living room.
According to a new global study of 5000 respondents, more than one third of consumers are now shopping online at least once a week, that’s up from 28% pre-COVID-19, .

Zohar, Australia-Israel
Born and raised in Israel, Zohar Edelshtein Budde, scientist-turned artist created canvases based on the Hebrew scriptures with wire and paint, before moving into jewellery design.

Mateus Nudelmann, Brazil
Self-taught designer Mateus Nudelmann emerged from the Paris party fashion scene about five years ago, where he developed his design experience dressing some of the world’s most beautiful women.
He’s originally from Brazil and his feminine creations are flattering and fun. He works with a lot of florals, while also while enjoying the glitz and glamour of his early years. Sewing and finishes are impeccable with unique signature embroidery on exclusive one-off pieces.

ELMADAWY, New York
Egyptian-born, New York based designer, Mohamed ElMadawy, creates alluring, statement haute couture which empowers the female form.
Originally specialising in accessory design, ElMadawy achieved exposure on the international circuit with Cairo’s Soucha Fashion House. He works with a style that incorporates feathering and layers and his style is feminine, sensual and easy to wear.
