Morpheus8 is a micro needling treatment that utilises radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture and tone.
My clinician explained that Morpheus8 uses tiny needles that penetrate the skin to deliver radiofrequency energy deep into the dermis. This energy heats the deeper layers of skin and tissue, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, which are essential for maintaining firm, youthful-looking skin. The microneedling aspect of the treatment also helps to improve the texture and tone of the skin by creating micro-injuries that trigger the body’s natural healing response.
My treatment experience
While the idea of having dozens of needles in your face over and over sounds very invasive, the Morpheus8 treatment was actually really tolerable. It sounds a lot more painful than it is.
There is usually some redness, swelling and mild discomfort immediately after the treatment, but this typically subsides within a few days.
I wasn’t left with any bruising and there was next to no downtime, which I loved.

It’s amazing what our bodies can do to bounce back and rebuild the things it’s lacking, if given the right assistance.
I don’t have any pigmentation issues anymore. My skin feels plumper and I look well rested. Fine lines and wrinkles are not as visible and even my pores, which were quite large, are hardly noticeable now, which is amazing.
