Are you a salon owner, or thinking about starting your own business?

Small Business Women Australia is offering free training to help business women adjust to their changed landscape and strategise for success.

The coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) has hit Australian business owners hard. Many are asking new questions, learning new skills and operating in entirely new ways. To help women on this journey, renowned business and strategy expert Amanda Rose started Small Business Women Australia, a networking group for female business owners. It offers is a supportive community to cultivate resilience and problem-solving, plus free access to the expertise of Amanda Rose, one of Australia’s most in-demand business advisors.

Launched on the 15th of April, Small Business Woman Australia will start SKILLUP, 30 weeks of free online up-skilling sessions. In a world of bad news for business owners, this is good news – very good news.

With a private Facebook group, Amanda’s initiative seeks to connect women nationwide in a supportive community. This isn’t Amanda’s first time cultivating this kind of community. As the founder of Western Sydney Women and Western Sydney Business Women, organisations designed to advocate for the economic flourishing of women across Western Sydney, Amanda knows what it takes.

Small Business Women Australia provides unique learning opportunities through Amanda’s free online up-skilling sessions, including marketing, HR, accounting and finance, recruitment, branding, psychology, self-improvement, building confidence and workplace culture. The Small Business Women Australia website will be packed with free resources to supplement these weekly sessions.

Small Business Women Australia also enables members to share experiences, connecting them through times of joy and adversity. This is the kind of community which is perspective-shifting. In stressful times, business owners need a place to find answers and an excuse to laugh.

Available across Australia, at zero cost, Small Business Women Australia is a resource business owners can’t afford to live without.

The Small Business Women Australia group can be accessed here.
