Having built a US $630 million beauty business on the back of her elusive pout, Kylie Jenner shocked fans this week by revealing that she has given up on lip filler.
After sharing her new look on Instagram, a fan of the 20-year-old reality star commented, ‘She looks like the old Kylie here idk why’, to which Kylie replied, ‘I got rid of all my filler’.
The news has been praised by the young mum’s followers who took to the comments section to celebrate and discuss her more natural look.
‘Awww Kylie you look so beautiful! I love that you got your filter removed,’ wrote one social media user. ‘Finally her real lips are back,’ said another.
Just as Kylie’s changing smile inspired a host of celebrities to undergo the procedure, stars are already following her decision to have her filler dissolved.
Within days of the makeup mogul’s revelation, MTV’s Farrah Abraham took to Instagram to share the dissolution of her injectables in a video entitled ‘Get Your Lip Filler Out the Right Way’.
Is this the end of an era? For Kylie and co maybe. But with Love Island sparking a surge in interest in cosmetic procedures across the UK and Ireland, it seems plump pouts aren’t going away anytime soon.
