Products used:
Red Current: A source of Vitamin C and antioxidants to reduce inflammation and promote collagen production
Elderflower: Has a high polyphenol content, which helps inhibit the regeneration of free radicals and protects the skin from further signs of ageing.
Magnolia bark: Prevents inflammation to help slow the manifestation of ageing on the skin.
Natural AHA cocktail: Derived from fruit extracts (pineapple, lemon, passion fruit and grape) to remove dead skin cells naturally.
Tea Tree Oil: Helps control oil and dermatitis, leaving the skin clear and soothed.

The verdict:
I tried the Red Currant Rapid Infusion Masque with a touch of scepticism. While I whole-heartedly admire the use of organic, natural ingredients – I am also an avid cosmeceuticals user, believing the science behind the pharmaceutical side of skincare.
However, upon applying the Eminence Masque – it should be applied evenly upon cleansed skin – I felt that tingling sensation on the skin that is usually accompanied by actual results. I left the masque on for two to three minutes, and then rinsed it off using clear water.
The masque itself covers the skin smoothly; it is easy to apply and feels luxurious and soothing on the skin. As mentioned above, there was some slight tingling after application but I took this as a hopeful indication of effectiveness – it wasn’t uncomfortable at all.
After I removed the masque and dried my face, my skin did seem smoother and brighter. Fine lines seemed less prominent and my skin had a natural, homogenised glow to it – noticeably different to my skin’s appearance just after cleansing.
Now, I use the red current masque every couple of days and I really look forward to doing it. It feels refreshing and invigorating – particularly because you can feel and smell the natural fruit extracts through it. If I’ve had a long day wearing makeup, or if my skin feels particularly tired or irritated, I will apply the Eminence Masque that evening, before bed, and can usually feel the difference straight away.
