After an extensive study by YouGov of over 1,000 women across Australia commissioned by Priceline Pharmacy, and its startling results regarding women’s attitudes to aging, Priceline Pharmacy has launched I’m Me campaign to help women feel more visible.

Those results found that 44% of Australian women aged 40+ feel invisible. The number increases with age, with 47% of 50 to 64 year olds and 53% aged 65 to 74 year.

The most common place for feeling invisible or ignored is when shopping in stores, followed by waiting in queues and when out and about and in work settings.

This world first campaign is being led by its ambassador, radio and television personality Chrissie Swan, who is herself 49.

Fellow Priceline Ambassador Ita Buttrose has now also been appointed Positive Aging Chief to help educate and inspire employees to provide age positive customer service which will be delivered via a 6 week training programme. Priceline Pharmacy’s head of marketing Gabby Tully says, ‘what the body positivity movement has achieved for size representation is to be celebrated. Now it is our turn for age positivity.’

‘As part of Priceline Pharmacy’s I’m Me campaign this autumn and beyond we want all Australian women to feel heard, valued and seen when they visit one of our 470+ stores across the country.’
