Pandora Australian Fashion Week 2024 has a new sponsor. For the first time, fragrance house, Creed, will be the official fragrance sponsor. This sponsorship will be for 3 years.
Guests can immerse themselves in Creed’s rich and luxurious history through installations and experiences at Carriageworks, the home of Australian Fashion Week. To celebrate Creed’s newest release, House of Silk fragrance, Creed has chosen renowned Australian designer, Michael Lo Sordo, to partner with. He was the obvious choice as luxurious silks have shaped the designer’s aesthetic over the course of his career.
Lo Sordo has designed an exclusive royal purple silk gown to be unveiled at his runway presentation on Tuesday 14th May as part of the official Australian Fashion Week schedule.
Collaborating with Lo Sordo for the Australian launch of Queen of Silk is a partnership of synergies, with luxurious silk shaping the designer’s aesthetic over the course of an illustrious career. “Silk is at the core of every collection that I create,” Lo Sordo said. “I have always loved the way it drapes, flows and creates elegant lines on the body.”
“Working with silk is a delicate art form which has been practiced for centuries,” he added. “Designing a dress to launch the new House of Creed fragrance, Queen of Silk, has enabled me to find the perfect balance and celebrate tradition while adding my modern touch.”
The Pandora Australian Fashion Week 2024 is on from the 13th of May until the 17th.
