Holographic ‘oil spill’ lips are taking over social media as the latest beauty trend to hit the scene. Starting off with the subtle metallic nail polish, Sigma’s holographic lip kit kicked off the holographic lip trend, racking up 570 percent more searches than last year!
Black lips
While it may not be the best shade for Christmas Day, black matte lipstick is on the trend for winter. First spied at Dior’s fall show in 2016, black lips are becoming less gothic and more glamorous and luxurious looking. With a swipe of glass, the look looks sleek, sophisticated and edgy.
Red eyeshadow
Just in time for the holidays! This year we started seeing red everywhere and it is everything. From burgundy and cranberry, to cherry and rich red, this splash of colour makes a statement. Blend with a bronzy brown into the edges and the crease, and keep your blush and lipstick soft.
Glitter manicure
Shimmer and glitter are all over the place and we’re okay with it. Enjoy the loveliest, glittery nails and golden stars to give a very holiday-inspired effect.
