2016 will see Beauty Expo Australia staged at Sydney Exhibition Centre on Glebe Island for the final time.
“I would like to say a massive thank you to the industry for supporting us across the last three years”, says Event Director, Julia Erben.
“The beauty industry is incredibly loyal to this show and this year we have put every effort into making it the best Beauty Expo yet. We believe that Beauty Expo Australia plays a significant role in propelling individual businesses forward and helps to launch careers of the most talented people within our industry.”
Acknowledging that skincare has always been the focus of the industry, 2016 sees the introduction of the Skincare Sanctuary, a boutique presentation of six of the key brands that every visitor wants to interact with. Showcasing Babor, Dermalogica, DMK, Sothys, Payot and Pevonia, the Skincare Sanctuary facilitates an up-close-and-personal experience of skincare excellence and technology which every salon professional can benefit from.
Alongside this new exhibition floor innovation, the heart of the show will be The HUB – which offers four separate demonstration stages dedicated to the other main areas of focus within the industry – makeup, nails, grooming and anti-ageing. The HUB stages will provide endless inspiration with an action-packed schedule of ongoing free sessions and select paid education throughout the weekend.
“We believe that making these changes to the expo format has encouraged the return of some much-loved and much-missed brands to Beauty Expo”, comments Julia Erben. “Pevonia is back with us after 5 years away; Sothys has returned and crowd favourites, Napoleon Perdis and Inskin will also be back much to the delight of our visitors”.
With a two-day ticket price of just $35 – exclusively available to members of the professional beauty industry – this really is an essential investment in your beauty career.
“Along with the presence of these amazing brands, our expanded free education program sessions and on-floor makeup competition have really increased the value of the ticket cost”, says Julia Erben.
“There’s so much more to see at Beauty Expo 2016 – and of course, if visitors want to take that further they can attend paid education sessions with an incredible line-up of multi-talented presenters.”
