Seeking a little support to achieve your Spring fitness goals?

What exactly is Pronto Pilates?

Pronto Pilates is a revolutionary, teacher-less Pilates studio concept that combines cutting-edge technology with the benefits of Reformer Pilates, all for just $5 per class. Traditional Pilates classes cost around $20-$40 each, but Pronto Pilates uses on-screen instructors, allowing them to lower the cost!

This affordable, convenient model allows members to enjoy Reformer Pilates anytime. Co-founder Emma Shelton says, “Pronto not only solves the problem of affordability but also allows me to bring my Pilates expertise to a wider audience, in a more accessible and convenient way. Our classes run 365 days per year, from early a.m. until late in the evening, which is a game-changer, as most studios only offer a limited number of classes,” she adds.

Who is it best for?

Pronto Pilates is perfect for anyone looking to incorporate Pilates into their routine without breaking the bank. It’s especially ideal for beginners who may feel intimidated by traditional studio environments or high costs. Seasoned Pilates enthusiasts looking for a more convenient, flexible option will love it too. The classes suit a wide range of fitness levels, offering everything from beginner to advanced sessions, making it inclusive for all.

What’s involved?

Each Pronto Pilates class is led by a fully qualified on-screen instructor, ensuring consistency and precision. The studios have Reformer machines, resistance bands, rings and weights, so you have all you need for a great workout. The classes vary in focus, with sessions like Foundation for beginners, Open for advanced practitioners, and even a specialised stretch class. “We’ve filmed over 70 unique classes specifically designed for on-screen instruction,” says Emma. This ensures members can attend regularly without repeating the same workout for months. And, that each session is easy, accessible, and effective.

How will you feel afterwards?

Expect to feel energised, strong, and balanced. The controlled movements combine with the support of the Reformer machine, providing a low-impact highly effective workout that improves flexibility, strength, and posture. Many members report feeling physically invigorated and mentally refreshed after the sessions, making it a holistic approach to fitness. “The health benefits of Pilates are astronomical,” says Emma. “Pronto makes it easy for people to adopt it regularly.”

Where can you practice Pronto Pilates?

Pronto Pilates has rapidly expanded across Australia, with studios in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. We were lucky enough to check out the newest Sydney location in inner west Rozelle. It was so fun and super easy. Little wonder it’s proving to be so popular. With over 1,000 studios slated to open worldwide by 2028, Pilates will soon be accessible to everyone. “We’re disrupting the Pilates industry, making high-quality, affordable classes available to everyone … everywhere,” says Emma.
