The verdict: The NIVEA FOR MEN Skin Energy Shave Gel has been one of the (male) Bella Guinea Pig’s (BGP) favourites for a while now and this latest version doesn’t disappoint.
No shaking required. A quick press of the button releases a nicely textured and minty gel that immediately turns into a foamy cream that covers the whole of beard area on the face and the neck. The new range has a fresh aroma that doesn’t smell soapy, and the remnants wash off easily leaving no residue or scent. BGP has always found the Nivea shaving gel to be quite economical not only in price but also in the number of shaves that can be had from a single can.
The complete Skin Energy range of products include Face Wash, Moisturiser, Face Care Gel, Double Action Balm and Eye Roll-on. All include Co-Enzyme Q10 along with creatine – another cell energy source that is supposed to help boost the skin renewal process. These ingredients are teamed with guarana plant extract and taurine, both renowned as super energy suppliers.
