Katy Perry worked with celebrity hairdresser Jesus Guerrero for the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards this week to achieve a stunning wet hair look.
Perry was awarded the 2024 Video Vanguard Award.
Goldwell was Jesus’s haircare brand of choice, working with products from their Goldwell StyleSign range.
He prepped Katy’s hair with Goldwell StyleSign Everyday Blow Dry Spray and their Weightless Shine Oil then used a ceramic round nylon brush to smooth the hair before styling. He followed this with Goldwell StyleSign Shine Spray then a flatiron and a 1 inch curler. This was followed by Goldwell StyleSign Defining Cream and their Weightless Shine Oil from mid hair to the ends for the final touch to the wet look. Jesus finished with the Goldwell StyleSign Spray and Extra Strong Hairspray to keep the front pieces in place and fight against the humidity in the air.
