Enhancing the outward reflection of inner beauty is the philosophy behind Cosmedic Professionals, a new cosmetic clinic set to open in Sydney this month.
Cosmedic Professionals is the venture by Rita Porreca from the Sydney Permanent Makeup Centre and Jessica O’Brien from the Skin and Laser Clinic Sydney. The new clinic is built on a philosophy of beauty starting from within. It will bridge the gap between medical, cosmetics and alternative therapies to afford a holistic and all- encompassing approach to beauty and wellbeing.
‘Self-confidence comes from how we feel inside and permeates outwards,’ Porreca explains. ‘Since I started Sydney Permanent Makeup Centre, I’ve had a dream to create a clinic that provides personalised natural beauty and lasting cosmetic results. This is where alternative therapies and cosmetic treatments meet.’
Porreca has been in the cosmetic industry for more than 30 years and believes there is a gap in the market, which Cosmedic Professionals will aim to fill.
‘I have always thought there is a missing link between medical treatments, beauty therapies and alternative methods,’ she says. ‘It’s time we link our inner health and skin together, because beauty starts from within.’
With everything from weight loss assistance to skin rejuvenation and injectables, Cosmedic Professionals will have a range of treatments on offer.
‘Cosmedic Professionals is a unique venture where clients can find answers to a variety of concerns,’ Porreca says. ‘Detoxing with our infrared sauna, and assisting with weight loss methods will address health and lifestyle concerns. When these measures are partnered with skin peels and light therapies for skin rejuvenation, a holistic, effective and long-term change in the skin and body can be achieved.’
Indeed with experts on board such as Porreca and O’Brien, the experience and knowledge behind the clinic is a powerful force. Sydney Permanent Makeup Centre is known for effective results in both paramedical and aesthetic permanent tattooing, while the Skin and Laser Clinic Sydney uses medical grade laser technologies combined with active skincare to treat a range of skin conditions.
‘The team at Cosmedic Professionals has been carefully selected for their professional understanding,’ Porreca explains. ‘The collective knowledge and experience behind Cosmedic Professionals will provide a number of treatment options for our clients. The beauty of this clinic is that a few specialised business are joining forces under the one umbrella.’
Cosmedic Professionals will be based in Five Dock, Sydney and is set to open this May. ‘By optimising inner health, and using a holistic and multimodal treatment regime, we will bring out the beauty in all our clients.’
