Tickets are now on sale for the 2015 Beauty Expo, set to take place on Saturday August 22 and Sunday August 23 at the Sydney Exhibition Centre at Glebe Island.
Industry leaders are well and truly on board this year’s show, with many big-name brands confirming their participation in the event.
‘This year’s Expo boasts a who’s-who of beauty products and services, including OPI, Pelactiv, Inglot, Comfortel, Youngblood, Bio Sculpture Gel, France Medical, Sunescape and Lycon,’ says Amelia Coote-Harris, Beauty Expo Event Director. “It will also feature a host of education seminars from the industry’s most respected international and local talent. It really is a must-attend event for anyone in the spa, beauty, medi and wellness fields,’ she concludes.
2015 Industry awards
The event will see the presentation of two of the industry’s most prestigious awards – Nailympia Australia and Face2Face Makeup Awards.
Naillympia Australia is conducted in association with Nailympia London, and it’s set to challenge the best in manicuring talent from across the country. A well respected panel of judges will look to skill and creativity in determining the prizewinners.
The Face2Face Makeup Awards are dedicated to uncovering extraordinary makeup artists, who are creative, passionate and brave enough to push the boundaries. This year’s competition will be adjudicated by Makeup Artist of the Year, Becca Gilmartin, who has featured on shows such as Australian Fashion Week and Australia’s Next Top Model.
“The Face2Face Makeup Awards are a platform for every kind of makeup artist to explore their craft, push their own personal limits and display excellence on a national competition level not yet seen in Australia,” said Becca Gilmartin.
