The promise: Applebox Greenroom is mainly used as a primer and can be layered with other Applebox gel serums. It contains organic fucoidan alongside marine and botanical actives. As well as protecting against day-to-day environmental damage, Greenroom cools, hydrates and nourishes. It’s also great for men who suffer razor burn.
The fucoidan used in Greenroom is a 100% organic kelp extract that can help reduce inflammation and tissue damage. It also prevents the breakdown of collagen and elastin, resulting in improved skin tone and elasticity.
Applebox Cosmetics are suitable for all skin types and are free from parabens and sulphates.
The verdict: I’ve been using Greenroom consistently for about three months and have noticed a positive difference in how my skin looks and feels. This difference has also been evident to a number of my friends, as quite a number have commented on my ‘youthful’ appearance.
Greenroom goes on slightly sticky and takes a little while to dry. I’ve learnt that letting it dry before adding a moisturiser removes any residual stickiness. One pump is enough to cover my face and neck, as well as the back of my neck and hands. Because I’ve been using Greenroom in winter, and exposure of my arms and legs has been limited, I haven’t really explored ‘body’ usage.
For guys it is fragrance free and I particularly like the way it soothes the skin after shaving. But the biggest benefit is how it tightens the skin. As a 50+ male it completely eliminates any bagging under my eyes, which is especially good if I’m suffering after a late night.
I can give this product the highest praise, and I will keep on using it past the road test period. Having used a number of serums and other concentrated products, Greenroom is comparably easier to use and certainly delivers on its promise to restore health and vitality to the skin.
