Summer is officially here, bringing with it two key new looks for the face. We spoke to Natalie Severino, Creative Director of YSL Makeup Australia, who firmly believes anyone can tailor these looks to suit their colouring, face shape and age.
The first look, which Severino refers to as the ‘Bronzed Goddess,’ features flawless skin highlighted with gold and bronze accents. To achieve the look try Clarins Bronzing Duo SPF 15 Rrp $58; Eles Mineral Powder Bronzer Rrp $52.50; or CK One Cream + Powder Bronzer Duo by Calvin Klein Rrp $45.
Severino recommends using bronzer as an eye shadow as well as a cheek and brow highlighter, to achieve a really natural, sun-kissed look. This look will also help reflect the light so is great for the older woman.
Lips should be subtle, kissable and almost naked. The second key trend this season is the ‘Luxe Exotic Glamour‘ look. Once again the backdrop is the perfect sun-kissed skin. This time the cheeks show colour which is radiant and glowing.
