Some of us are born with perfect lips. Some of us receive assistance from our aesthetic practitioner. But there is another solution.

Lip queen, Anastacia Snelleksz, founded the cruelty free, vegan friendly, paraben-free makeup brand, Project Beauty in 2019 in an effort to make makeup fun again!

Having spent 20 years as an entrepreneurial business owner, running brands which empower others to feel great in their own skin, including Pole Princess – a franchise of pole dancing studios for fitness, Anastacia has combined her love of performance and study in performing arts to create a range for lips that allows you to celebrate and enhance your natural beauty.

Anastacia believes that dedicating time to your makeup application, should be seen as a form of self-care, allowing you to explore your creativity, and nurturing your body. To assist you with this she has put together a step by step routine to achieve thicker, fuller lips without any medical assistance.

  1. When applying foundation, use a beauty blender to apply it over your lips hiding your natural lip line
  2. Using a cream contour draw a line under the bottom lip and just where the Cupid’s bow is – stay close to the Cupid’s bow and don’t do the whole upper lip as this could end up looking like a moustache
  3. Using the beauty blender, blend that in
  4. Now grab highlighter and highlight just where the Cupid’s bow is
  5. Apply liner outside your natural lip line creating a new filler lip. You can do both lips if you want to create the illusion of bigger lips or you can do just the top lip if you just want more even looking lips
  6. Apply lipstick as normal
  7. Either apply a shade light lipstick to the inner centre part of your lips with your fingers, dabbing it on to give dimension and blend it into the darker lip colour or you can also apply some eyeshadow in a similar colour or even highlighter depending on the colour you’ve chosen.

Anastacia has spent years perfecting techniques like this and has an extensive range of lip products available at Project Beauty to help you with this technique.

So, just like your former child-self, go for it gorgeous – you’ve got nothing to lose!
