Kérastase Society checks in to Le Méridien Melbourne

Kérastase is bringing its immersive beauty world to Melbourne this July, joining forces with Le Méridien Melbourne for a full hotel takeover that combines luxury hospitality, professional haircar, beauty technology and a little after-dark fun.

From Saturday 11 July to Sunday 12 July 2026, Le Méridien Melbourne at 20 Bourke Street will become Kérastase Society, an immersive destination designed to take guests well beyond the traditional salon experience.

The Glow-Up Lounge is the main beauty hub, where guests can access personalised scalp and hair diagnosis powered by Kérastase K-Scan technology, alongside professional dry styling services. It’s a clever way of showing how the salon touchpoint is being reimagined, with expert hair advice, product discovery and styling brought together in a more experiential, social setting.

Kérastase Society has already appeared in Paris and Milan, with Melbourne marking the concept’s Australian debut. The local edition will bring together beauty, design, food, music and hotel culture, creating a full brand world for guests to explore.

A hotel turned beauty destination

Across the weekend, the hotel will be reimagined through a series of Kérastase-inspired spaces.

The Glazed Café will offer Parisian-style treats, drinks and sweet moments inspired by the glossy world of Kérastase Gloss Absolu and Glaze Drops. From there, guests can move into the Glow-Up Lounge for their hair and scalp consultation and dry styling appointment.

The hotel’s underground restaurant and cocktail bar will also become the Social Club, a more playful, after-dark space inspired by the violet tones of Kérastase Blond Absolu. By day it will have a relaxed, glossy feel; by night it will move into more of a club atmosphere, with music, retro details and plenty of beauty energy.

There will also be a dedicated Kérastase retail space, giving guests the chance to shop the brand’s product collections, discover cult favourites and take home event-only gifts and products.

The Kérastase experience

For those wanting a taste of the experience, the VIP Visit is priced at $80 per person and is valued at $180. It includes treats at the Glazed Café, a dry styling session in the Glow-Up Lounge, entrance to the Social Club and Kérastase gifts and products.

For those wanting to turn it into a full beauty staycation, the Premium Stay is priced at $500 and valued at $1,130. This includes an overnight stay in a Kérastase suite on Saturday 11 July, breakfast for two, entrance to the Social Club for two, treats at the Glazed Café, two dry styling sessions and Kérastase gifts and products.

The suites are designed to bring the Kérastase experience into the hotel room, with curated products and beauty-led details created for a more intimate and indulgent stay.

Event details

Kérastase Society Melbourne will take place at Le Méridien Melbourne from Saturday 11 July to Sunday 12 July 2026.

K-Scan consultations and dry styling sessions will be available from 9.30am to 6pm, with the Social Club open from 7pm until late during the weekend.

Bookings are available via the Kérastase Australia events page.
